UPDATED PARISH COUNCIL APPEALS HEARING AUGUST 26, 2020
There has been a flood of complicating revisions regarding this month’s Parish Council Meeting. To be certain, we awaited verification from several sources before sending this communiqué. We have confirmed that the “Bayou Bend” (Carroll Road) zoning appeals will be heard on Wednesday, August 26th at 7:00 PM in the Parish Council Chambers. This is a Special Meeting of the Council intended to hear the appeals, originally scheduled for the postponed August 6th Meeting. Please note, the rescheduled Regular Council Meeting will take place on Thursday, August 20th.
The Bayou Bend appeals are listed as the third case on the agenda scheduled for August 26, 2020. Please monitor the Parish website for possible abrupt time, date or location changes. We will update the BLA website www.bayoulibertyassociation.com on our Community Page. At present, the Appeal’s Special Session will take place in the Parish Council Chambers at 21490 Koop Drive. As always, COVID-19 requirements may force unforeseen changes
If you plan on attending, be aware full COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced – temperature checks prior to entering the meeting, full mask or covering at all times, and social distancing. Access inside the chamber and/or seating may be limited.
Any email you wish to disseminate to the Council must be received at parishcouncil@stpgov.org by 4:00 PM on August 26. Per the Parish website “The Council Clerk will read comments submitted by e-mail into the record, referable to the applicable agenda item”.
If you have any questions about these meetings, Donna will be happy to help if possible, but feel free to call the Council Office at 985-898-2591.
