BAYOU LIBERTY WATER GAUGE - NOAA
The 2021 Hurricane Season has begun. Even without named storms or hurricanes, the water levels on Bayou Liberty have been exceptionally high with longer sustained flooding periods. Many residents have already endured flood levels this year.
The NOAA has a water level gauge near the Highway 190 crossing. Used together with public official announcements, monitoring the water levels according to the gauge then applying them to water levels on your property may help you assess when you need to take action to protect your belongings and your loved ones.
